This Privacy policy applies to our interactions with our clients and guests, including but not limited to property rentals, rental management, marketing of rental listings, provision of guest services, your use of website or applications, social media, and advertisements or communications relating to any services we offer.(“Services”)

This Privacy policy does not apply to any third-party websites that may be accessible through a website, or to third-party websites on which advertises

We collect certain personal information about you as necessary to provide services that you request, to fulfill the terms of a contract between you and us, or to comply with our legal obligations. If you refuse to provide this type of personal information, we may not be able to provide services to you

When you reserve, pay for, or stay in a property through

  • Contact information. When you reserve or stay in a property through we may collect information such as your first and last name, contact phone number, email address, and other digital contact information. We may also collect names and contact information that you provide about other renters or guests
  • Payment information. When you make a reservation, we collect your payment information, such as information from your credit card, debit card and your billing address, to allow us to process payments
  • Identity information. To prevent fraud, to comply with the requirements of applicable law, or to meet the requirements of a hotel, resort or community association, we may collect proof of identity or proof of age, such as a government-issued driver’s license, passport, or other identity information in connection with your stay
  • Other information. We may collect information about your vehicle(s) and license plate number(s) in connection with your stay at a property that requires this information for parking permits. We may also collect information about your age and the ages of other guests in connection with your stay at a property that imposes a minimum renter age or requires this information for check-in. We may collect additional personal information in connection with your stay to comply with the requirements of applicable law, or to meet the requirements for renting an apartment

When we provide rental management or marketing services

  • Contact information. When we contract with you to provide our full service management as per the new ruling, we may collect information such as your first and last name; the address of your property; your mailing address, contact phone numbers, email addresses, and other digital contact information; and information concerning any other apartment you own in the Herzliya Marina. We may also collect names and contact information of any other owners of the property, owners of an entity that owns the property, or guests or family members who use or stay at the property
  • Bank account, tax, and identity information. In order to make payments to you, we collect information such as your bank account information, tax identification number, or other information. We may also collect proof of identity, such as a government-issued ID, passport, or other identity information in order to verify your identity or comply with applicable law

When you choose to provide us with additional information

  • Information provided during communications with When you communicate with com in person, or by phone, email, text message, application, or other electronic means of communication, we may collect any information that you choose to provide during the communication
  • Other information you choose to provide. We may collect other information you choose to provide to com, for example when you submit a review, comment or request, interact with a social media account, attend a event, refer a potential guest or owner, conduct a search, enter a promotion, designate a preferred language or currency, or use other aspects of our Services

  • Information provided in connection with a booking or stay. If you use a third party to book a stay in a property for which com provides rental management, the third party may send us personal information relating to your stay that you provided to the third party, such as your name, contact information, payment method, the names of other renters or guests, reservation dates, and identity information. We may collect information about you from your friends or family members, for example if a friend or family member includes you as part of their reservation. Third parties who provide services to you in connection with your stay, such as a utility, contractor, service provider, tour operator, concierge, or government official, may send us information about the services you used if permitted or required to do so by applicable law. The type of information we receive varies depending on the type of service that was provided

We automatically collect certain information about you when you visit our website, or communicate with

  • Information about your site visits. When you visit our com website, we collect information about your activity on the site. We may track the date and time you accessed the site, the pages you visit and how long you viewed them, your searches for properties, your booking activity (including started, attempted, and abandoned bookings), whether you have followed links to other websites, and your other interactions with the site. Your internet browser may automatically transmit information to us, such as what website you came from
  • Device and browser information. We may automatically collect information about the hardware, operating system, browser, and extensions or add-ons you are using, IP address, proxy server, ISP or mobile carrier, device identifier, and any crash data associated with your visit
  • Location information. If you use our mobile websites or applications, we may automatically collect location data obtained from your mobile device’s GPS. Most mobile devices allow you to control whether an application can use the device’s location services. If you use our websites, we may collect information about your location derived from your IP address
  • Cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. We may use tracking tools like browser cookies, flash cookies, and web beacons. We may also engage certain business partners to use these tracking tools on our com website

To conduct, measure, and improve our advertising and marketing

We use information about you to communicate with you about as permitted by law, including sending advertisements and marketing communications. We may use information about you and your search, browsing, and booking history to send promotional messages and offers that may be of interest to you; to analyze and improve the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing efforts; or to conduct marketing campaigns on third-party websites or social media platforms

We also use your data to produce aggregated information that does not identify you, such as information about ad impressions served or clicked on

With third parties in in order to fulfill our contractual obligations and/or provide Services

  • We share information about you to provide Services that you request or to fulfill the terms of a contract between you and us. We need to share this information to adequately perform the terms of the contract between us and you
  • We may share information with our local service providers, such as maintenance technicians, contractors, and housekeepers, to allow us to provide services you request and that we are contractually obligated to provide. We might also authorize our local service providers to collect information on our behalf. If you are staying in a property reserved through com, this information may include your full name, the names of other guests, and your telephone number or email address
  • Apartment building community associations entities usually require us to provide all guest information in connection with a new reservation for an apartment in their building. We share information with these associations to the extent it is legally required or that those parties require us to do so as a condition of the rental. This information may include your full name and age, the names and ages of other guests, your telephone number, your address and vehicle information such as make, model, and license plate number
  • With third parties in order to offer additional services. We may share information about you with local third-party business partners who may offer additional services in connection with a property you have booked. For example, we may provide your name and email address to our cleaning company that offers cleaning services for the apartment you have booked. These third parties are contractually bound to use your information only for purposes of offering services specific to your stay

To comply with the law, respond to legal requests, resolve disputes, prevent harm to persons or property, and protect our rights

  • We may disclose your information, including your personal information, to a court, law enforcement agency, government agency, or other authorized third party in response to a court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal process or legal requirement, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding alleged, suspected, or known illegal activities or any activity that may expose us, you, or any third party on whose behalf we act to liability; (2) comply with our legal obligations; (3) comply with legal process and to investigate, respond to, or defend ourselves against any claims or allegations asserted against us; (4) comply with or respond to an audit conducted by a government agency; (5) enforce our Terms of Service or the terms of any agreement between us and you; (6) prevent or mitigate harm to persons or property; or (7) exercise or protect our rights, the rights of our employees, the rights of third parties on whose behalf we act (such as the owners of properties we manage or market), or the rights of the public
  • We may attempt to notify you about a legal request or demand for your personal data, where we reasonably believe that notification is appropriate, except where (a) disclosure is prohibited by applicable law or by the terms of the legal process or court order we receive, (b) where the request is an emergency, or (c) we believe providing notice would be futile, would create or increase a risk of harm to persons or property, or would create or increase a risk, or prevent the detection of fraud. We may dispute legal demands in instances where we believe a request proper authority. However, we do not undertake to provide notice of every request or challenge any legal demand

With vendors that perform services on our behalf

  • We may share your information with vendors or other third parties that provide us with services or software. For example, we may provide your contact information to operators of communication or marketing platforms so that we may use their platform software to communicate with you. We might share information with a business partner who is running a joint promotion with us or who provides a product or service in partnership with us. We may disclose information to our outside auditors in connection with their auditing services

With social media platforms and advertising publishers

We carry out these activities based on our legitimate interest in conducting marketing activities to offer you services that may be of interest to you. For all international tourists renting an apartment through, we are required to forward a copy of your passport and reservation details to our auditors to confirm your exception of VAT on your reservation. The information we disclose may include your name and contact information, the property address, the dates of stay and transaction amounts

Transaction-related communications from

You may receive business-related communications from relating to a booking you have made or an inquiry about a property. Because these communications are necessary for us to provide you with requested services, you cannot opt out of such communications

Marketing communications from

You may receive marketing communications from as permitted by law. You can register or change your preferences to receive or not receive marketing communications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the communication you have received. Please allow sufficient time for your preferences to be processed. Even if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, we may still contact you for transactional purposes like confirming or following up on a reservation or home inquiry or asking you to review your stay. If you later opt back into receiving marketing communications from us, we will remove your information from our opt-out databases

  • Update your personal information. You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information about you
  • Right to object to, withdraw consent to, or limit use of your information. In some jurisdictions, you have the right to ask us to stop using some or all of your personal information for certain purposes if our processing of your information is based on legitimate interests. In such cases, we will no longer use your personal information for such purposes unless: (i) our use is required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or (ii) we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for our use of the information. If our use of your personal information is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by sending a request stating what consent you are withdrawing. Any withdrawal of consent is prospective only (meaning it does not apply to our use of your data before we receive the withdrawal)

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to perform the contract between us and you and to comply with legal requirements. The length of time we retain your information depends on type of information we have collected and the purpose for which we have collected it

In general, we retain your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as obligations to retain and report information for VAT, auditing, and regulatory compliance purposes. We may also retain some of your personal information as necessary to meet our legitimate business interests, such as to enhance our ability to detect fraud or to assert or defend against an actual or potential legal claim by you or a third party

If you share information with others in connection with your use of the Services, such as by writing a review or engaging directly with a third party, your information may continue to be visible to the public or to the third party even after we delete it

Even after we delete your information, portions of your data may remain in aggregated, anonymized, or tokenized form, but are not associated with personal identifiers. In addition, because we regularly back up our systems, portions of your personal information may continue to reside in backup copies for a period of time after it is deleted from our main systems

When you make a reservation on our website, all of your order information, including your credit card number and delivery address, is transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology causes your browser to encrypt your information before transmitting it to our secure server. SSL technology, an industry standard, is designed to prevent someone other than operators of our websites from capturing and viewing your personal information

We use industry-standard technical measures to protect our websites and your information, and we monitor for and attempt to prevent security breaches. We update and control access to our systems to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost or destroyed by breach of any of our security measures. In the event of a data breach, we will comply with applicable laws relating to notification

Guest terms & conditions

Holiday in Marina Herzliya Ltd.  (trading as “HerzliyaMarina.Com”, thereafter ‘the Company’) manages vacation apartments in the Herzliya Marina on behalf of the Owners of the property. All apartments have been personally inspected by the Company to ensure that they meet the high standards of accommodation on which the Company’s reputation is based. At the time of publishing, the properties are furnished and equipped as described in the detailed and technical descriptions provided to the guests on the Company’s website

From time to time we may change the layout, furniture or fittings and the Company will seek to update these on the website at the earliest opportunity and notify guests if the changes to the property change the nature of the accommodation. Differences between the description and photos on the website and those actually found at the property do not constitute a basis for cancellation, refunds or other claims against the Company

Prices and seasons published on the Company’s website are indicative and subject to variation without notice prior to the confirmation of a booking. A quote will be provided at the time of inquiry and the confirmation of the booking will occur when the advance payment of 100% of the total rent and fees has been paid and the confirmation of payment receipt is issued. The base currency of referral is the Israel Shekel (NIS) and values in other currencies published on the Company’s websites are based on current interbank rates and provided for comparative purposes only

Rental prices included with the nightly rate of the property include all utilities such as electricity, water, Wifi, municipality taxes and service charges for the building. The Guest is responsible for the proper use of the utilities. Any proven unreasonable consumption of water and electricity gives the right to the Company to charge an extra fee as a compensation

On arrival, we will pre-authorize a debit/credit card of your choice for 1500 Shekels (it may be different from the one with which you have made the initial payment to secure the booking) as a safety precaution for any potential damages to the apartment during your stay. We hold the right to make appropriate deduction from the card in the event of any damage to the accommodation or its contents, or in the event of a late check-out after 11 am on the day of your departure

Booking confirmation

Your booking will be confirmed when you receive our confirmation email with your payment receipt

A pre-payment of 100% of the rental price plus the cleaning charge is payable when making a reservation and confirmation will not be effected until the whole of the pre-payment has been received

We accept the following Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard  and American Express. Payments made by Visa and Mastercard are not subject to any commission. Please note that payments using American Express are subject to an additional 3% surcharge


Cancellation is effected by the Guest when written notification is acknowledged to have been received by Should the guest for whatever reason cancel their booking, they will have the right to reimbursement of all money paid subject to the deduction of cancellation charges as follows:

Guests shall be entitled to a 100% refund within 14 days from the date of their payment receipt email confirmation, provided that their Notice of Cancellation is delivered to the Company upto 60 days before the check in date

If the Notice of Cancellation is received from the 60th day before the actual check in date (and at least 14 days have past from the date of the booking payment confirmation), the guest shall receive a 50% refund

In the event of cancelling the booking from 21 days before the check in date, (and at least 14 days have past from the date of the booking payment confirmation), the guest will not be able to receive any refund whatsoever

Changes to booking dates, or properties constitute an extra fee of 300 Shekels (subject to availability).
Clients are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance to ensure that they are protected from unforeseen events which may give rise to cancellations

Apartment substitution

If as a result of a serious breakdown or failure in the apartment, and decide that it is not possible to continue with the booking, the Company will do its utmost to find a replacement apartment that is acceptable to the Guest, or offer a refund for the balance of the booking. The Guest acknowledges that in this event, the Company’s liability for damages will be limited to the amount of unused rental, based on a pro rata calculation of unused rental days. Should a property become unserviceable prior to the arrival of a Guest, the Company will do its best to find a suitable replacement property of an equal standard. In the event of a more expensive apartment being selected, Clients will have the choice of paying the difference or receiving a full refund of moneys paid

Arrivals & conduct

In the weeks leading up to your arrival, the Company will request details of the expected arrival time, method of transport, names of all guests and any additional requirements

The booking payment confirmation provided at the time of payment is not transferable and must be presented to the Company representative at the time of arrival in order to gain entry to the property. The guest acknowledges that the following circumstances provide the Company with a basis for the immediate termination of the reservation without recourse and forfeiting all moneys paid to the Company:

  • Exceeding the maximum number of guests as noted on the booking;
  • Non-authorised substitution of guests – the names and passport details of all guests must be provided to the property representative (to comply with Israeli Law)
  • Conduct unbecoming at the property (including any destruction of property, poor hygiene, smoking in the apartment or building, excessive noise etc.)
  • Parties, weddings, celebrations unauthorized or involving non-guests
  • Introducing domestic animals

The Guest acknowledges that there will be no redress against the Company in the event that these events cause premature termination of their short stay rental

The Company has the right to access the premises for the inspection and verification of the condition of the premises, and take photographs of any damage if applicable, with reasonable advance notice. If the Company has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or the property, they may enter the property without advance notice

Departure & cleaning

Standard check out time is until 11 AM. After this time a Company representative will conduct an inspection. It is a condition of rental that the property must be left in a clean and orderly manner at the end of the rental period. This implies that the dishes are washed, rubbish is removed from the property and the rooms are left in a tidy condition. Clients are not authorized to rearrange the furniture of the property and crockery and other equipment of the apartment (chairs, blankets, etc.) must not be used or transported out of the apartment. Candles and oil burners are not permitted inside the apartments

On arrival, we will pre-authorize a debit/credit card of your choice for 1500 shekels (it may be different from the one with which you have made the initial payment to secure the booking) as a safety precaution to insure our company from any potential damage may cause during your stay. We hold the right to make appropriate deduction from the card in the event of any damage to the accommodation or its contents, or in the event of a late check-out after 11 am on the day of your departure. lf the guest fails to vacate the apartment at the check-out time agreed, they will be charged 300 Shekels for each hour or part of an hour of delay


Any problems with the apartment encountered during the short stay rental period should be reported immediately to us. The Company will endeavor to address the problems and resolve them to the satisfaction of the Client as soon as possible. In the event that the Company is unable to resolve the problem to the satisfaction of the Client, a complaint must be lodged immediately in writing to [email protected]

Reasonable time must be allowed for the Company to resolve the problem. Clients must not vacate the property under any circumstances without the express written agreement of as to do so will annul the rights to claim for compensation

Where a Client believes they have a claim for compensation, the period of compensation will commence from the time the complaint is received to the end of the booking period. Requests for compensation must be lodged with the Company in writing within 48 hours of completion of the rental period or during your stay

The following do not give rise to claims for compensation:

  • Force Majeure, terrorist acts or natural disasters
  • Shortages of power, gas or water outside of the Company’s control
  • Damage from wind, rain, hail, flood, fire, lightning, landslide or other acts of God
  • Outburst of pests, insects, etc
  • Claims arising as a result of damage caused by Guests to the property
  • Damage or loss to Guests’ belongings or property
  • Civil works or construction projects nearby the rented property that are not under the control of the Company

Limitations of liability

Guests acknowledge that they are responsible for taking all necessary safety precautions for themselves. The Company will not be liable for any claims in the event of incidents occurring whilst occupants or guests are under the influence of alcohol or any non – therapeutic drugs. The limitation of liability for any claim against the Company for whatsoever cause will not exceed the total amount of rental paid to the Company by the Guest

Acceptance of our terms & conditions

Guests acknowledge that by acknowledging these terms and conditions in the Company’s inquiry form or booking request, they agree to be bound by the provisions contained herein and to accept liability for damages caused by them or their parties to our managed properties
